Our Joinery team have recently completed this kitchen fitting as part of a more extensive refurbishment project at a property in morecambe. In addition to the kitchen fitting we have also installed a lowered ceiling consisting of a timber frame, allowing for acoustic insulation to be installed before being double boarded with acoustic plaster board and also fire boards. The result is a very effective sound insulated ceiling, preventing the noise from he kitchen travelling up to the rooms above.
We have then carried out the plastering to the new ceiling before completing the kitchen installation. We have also completed the tiling to the splash backs around the worktops, laid the new vinyl laminate flooring and eventually decorated the new room.
This was one of our first jobs back after lockdown 1.0. We have cleaned and sanded back the exterior to this summer house, the decking, balustrades, sheds and gates. We have used a fantastic Dulux Trade Opaque Wood stain and applied 3 coats for ultimate protection. And init soup decking stain to the decking. We had already decorated the interior of this space back in the Autumn of 2019.
Here at this large detached property in the south lakes we have completed extensive external decorating as well as some internal decoration. We have cleaned and treated the decking areas and garden furniture. We have also carried out repairs to one of the chimney stacks, replaced a timber frame window to the garage and power washed all of the hard surfaces.
